Two ways to self-host
Self-hosted Umami is free and MIT licensed; you run it with Node.js and a D1 database on a server you look after. ownlytics deploys into your
Cloudflare account with one command: a Worker, a D1 database and a cron job, with no server, no database to patch and nothing on our side to go down.

What ownlytics adds
Stripe,
Polar and
Dodo connected with a key, past sales imported, renewals and refunds by webhook.- Attribution models: last non-direct (default), first touch or last touch, per website. How it works.
Telegram alerts for every sale, traffic spikes and a daily digest.
- Serverless running costs:
Cloudflare's free plan fits most sites. Self-hosting on
Cloudflare.
When
Umami is the better choice
- You want open-source code you can read, change and host anywhere.
- You already run servers and PostgreSQL, and free matters most.
- You want a hosted free tier for one small site.
- You need session replays or heatmaps (
Umami Cloud Business).

Ask your AI agent, too
Every ownlytics install has a built-in MCP server. One command connects Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf or VS Code, and your agent answers "which post made me money?" from your own data. The same numbers are in your terminal and behind read-only API keys.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user ownlytics https://ownlytics.xyz/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer dbk_YOUR_KEY"
